Studying the book Rock Medicine by Sela Randazzo Jim designs jewelry to appeal to the eye and also support well being. With an emphasis in using “shield stones” in his designs, Jim wants everyone to be aware that rock energy is effective. His jewelry is not intended as a shortcut to Sela’s healing art. Jim’ work is meant to be used with the principles Sela teaches in her book.
Natural fibers are used—sinew, hemp, silk etc. Untreated stones* retain their vibrational frequencies and are preferred for his designs. Generally, metal is not used—gold silver and brass are employed where appropriate. Clasps are simple, usually self “loop and button” style.
Custom orders are encouraged. He designs in his live/work space at Backwater Arts Gallery. The desired length, the right stones for the desired health results and other design elements will be considered to assure the best outcome. Visitors are welcome. Please call for an appointment.
